The area is located on the western side of the South Tyrolean Lowlands [Südtiroler Unterland; Bassa Atesina]. The hamlet of Entiklar belongs to the municipality of Kurtatsch [Cortaccia], while the hilly vineyards of Margreider Leiten, as the name suggests, extend towards the municipality of Margreid [Magré].

The foundation for uniqueness

The hillside vineyards grow on calcareous gravel soils that come from moraine deposits dating back to the last ice age. These soils are typically permeable and can retain rainfall water. Maintaining a balanced soil moisture level ensures good growth and health of the vines.
