The vineyard is located at an elevation of 600 to 640 meters above sea level and covers 0,4 hectares. The southeast-facing steep slope above the Tiers Valley provides good protection against northern winds.

The foundation for uniqueness
The upper areas consist of moderately loamy sand with high salt content and low humus content. A special feature is the presence of gray porphyry. In the deeper soil layers, sandy-calcareous rock flour dominates. The special mix of rocks gives the wine its distinctive character of mineral-flinty nuances and fresh acidity.
