Presentation ‘Selection VIGNA’ (part 1)

The concept of VIGNA, single vineyards treated with special care, is currently discussed frequently in the South Tyrolean wine sector. We, Tiefenbrunner, are very fond of this ideology and believe in the importance of terroir and uncompromising quality from the vine to the glass in order to achieve exceptional wines. In our view, VIGNA stands for top quality, exclusivity and traceability.

On January 27th 2017 we presented our new Selection VIGNA to leading journalists and experts from Italy and the rest of Europe by preparing a blind tasting with exclusive single site wines from prestigious wine growing areas worldwide such as France, Austria or California. Our Vigna AU Chardonnay, RACHTL Sauvignon as well as TOREN Cabernet Sauvignon positioned themselves successfully among these big players and turned out to be pleasant surprise.
