Wine description:
A fresh and fruity uncomplicated wine. Delicate green to light yellow in colour, its smooth body, flavour and good acidity impress the palate. The bouquet is reminiscent of wild herbs, linden blossom and nutmeg. The finish is smooth and elegant.
Serving suggestion:
A suitable accompaniment to all types of hors d’oeuvres, and to fish and shell fish, poultry, pork and veal.
Grape variety: 90% Müller Thurgau (Riesling x Madeleine Royal), 10% Chardonnay
Vineyard location: Hilly countryside in Penon (550-650 m. above sea level) and in Graun (750-900 m. above sea level)
Soil composition: Chalk gravel
Growing system: Pergola: 3,500 vines/hectare
Yield: 70 - 80 hl/hectare
Age of vines: Up to 40 years
Vinification: Controlled fermentation at 20º C in steel tanks.
Vessles: Stainless steel tanks
Alcohol content: 12,5% by vol.
Total acidity: 6,2 g / litre
Residual sugars: 2,7 g / litre
