Description: Ruby red in colour with garnet reflections, this elegant dessert wine has a rosy bouquet. On the palate it is persistently spicy, with a balanced structure, supple softness and a lingering finish.
Serving suggestion: An outstanding accompaniment to semifreddo with cinnamon or poppy seeds, South Tyrolean krapfen, or blue cheeses.
Grape varieties: 100% Moscato Rosa
Vineyard location: Vigneti collinari a Lavis (260 – 350 m s.l.m.).
Soil: Chalk gravel moraine soil.
Growing system: Guyot; 7,000 vines / hectare
Yield: 45 hl / hectare
Age of vines: Up to 15 years
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel tanks, where it remains for a six-month maturation period.
Barrels: Stainless steel
Alcohol content: 11:5% by vol.
Total acidity: 5,2 g / litre
Residual sugars: 72.5 g / litre
