Wine description:
A light-red wine with brilliant reflections. It is fresh and fruity and reminiscent of cherries, violets and bitter almonds. Harmonious in flavour with light tannin in the finish. An uncomplicated, eminently drinkable, wine.
Serving suggestion:
Suitable to accompany almost all fish and meat dishes, especially salamis and sausages, and boiled and white meat.
Grape variety: Lagrein, Merlot and Cabernet
Vineyard location: Kurtatsch (Cortaccia), Margreid (Magrè) and Rotaliano (Trentino).
Soil compo: Chalk gravel from moraine deposits and sandy alluvial soil
Growing system: Pergola; 3,500 vines / hectare
Yield: 70 -75 hl / hectare
Age of vines: Up to 40 years
Vinification: Fermented in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in large wooden casks.
Vessels: Concrete vats and wooden barrels.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Total Acidity: 5.0 g / litre
Residual sugars: 2.7 g / litre
