Description:
This youthfully fresh wine makes an elegant impression. Clear, bright yellow in colour, its nose exhibits fine floral and fruit aromas: hints of apple and tropical fruit are prevalent in the bouquet. An agreeable, fresh acidity accompanies this mineral wine through its fine harmonious finish.
Serving suggestion:
This white wine makes a good companion to all sorts of appetizers, as well as asparagus dishes, seafood, poultry, pork or veal.
Varieties: 100% Binot Bianco (Blanc)
Vineyard location: Kurtatsch/Cortaccia (1300 - 1970 feet) and Margreid/Magrè (960 feet above sea level).
Soil: Chalk gravel moraine soil in the hills in Kurtatsch, sandy alluvial soil in the area of Margreid.
Growing system: Pergola and guyot; 3.500 - 7.000 vines / hectare.
Yield: 70 - 75 hl / hectare.
Age of vines: Up to 30 years.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks between 20 - 21° C; till the bottling 4 months on the fine lees in the tank aged.
Barrel: Stainless steel and concrete tanks.
Alcohol content: 13% by vol.
Total acidity: 6.0 g / litre
Residual sugars: 2.9 g / litre
