Description:
This Cuvée has a discreet bouquet of blackberries and blackcurrants. Velvety soft in flavour with finely integrated tannins. A very complex wine: persistent in the throat with a juicy salty finish.
Serving suggestion:
Excellent with braised or grilled beef, lamb or game, as well as cheeses.
Varieties: 55% Caberent Sauvignon, 45% Merlot
Vineyard location: saouth-southeast facing hillside vineyards in Entiklar (280 - 310 meters above sea level)
Soil:chalk gravel moraine soil
Growing system: guyot;7.500 vines / hectare
Yield: 45 - 50 hl / hectare
Age of vines: till 16 years
Vinification: Primary fermetation in stainless steel tanks; 18 months aged in barriques
Receptacles: stainless steel, barriques (50% new)
Alcohol content: 13,0% alc. by vol.
Total acidity: 5,0 g / litre
Residual sugars: 2,2 g / litre
