Description: Delicate green to light yellow in color, this wine is a pleasure to drink with its awesome intensity and broad spectrum of aromas: spicy, floral notes of jasmine and sage lend it a spectacular degree of finesse. Delicately structured with nice acidity, it has a racy, uncomplicated finish. Serving suggestion: A wonderful companion to all sorts of appetizers, seafood, poultry, pork or veal dishes.
Varieties: 100% Müller Thurgau (Risling x Sylvaner) Vineyard location: a high plain in Fennberg (over 1,000 meters above sea level), a fraction of Margreid, with protection from the north wind and a distinct microclimate Soil: loamy alluvial moraine Growing system: guyot; 8,000 vines / hectare Yield: 50 hl / hectare Age of vines: till 17 years Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel tanks between 20 - 21° C; till the bottling 6 months on the fine lees in the tank aged Receptacles: stainless steel Alcohol content: 12,5% alc. by vol.
