A beautiful, ancient castle garden with magnificent centuries-old trees invites you to relax. you can also enjoy a South Tyrolean "Marende" (a light meal) and a fine glass of wine in the inviting historic, and almost Mediterranean, atomosphere of the beautiful stone-pine panelled rooms. The old Wolkenstein Cellar is the ideal place to pass a few hours together in good company.

It is named after the late-medieval poet and minstrel, Oswald von Wolkenstein, who, despite his destiny appreciated above all else the noble wine from the sunny south of South Tyrol, and sang its praises.

Something particularly worth seeing is the Turmhof castle park - a fairytale world guarantees to appeal equally to children and adults.
