Description: This shimmering greenish yellow cuvée possesses an intense floral bouquet with a broad array of fruit aromas. Its body is forceful and well-proportioned, and its finish lingers on the palate. This is a multifaceted wine that can be fully enjoyed after several years of storage.
Serving suggestion: This cuvée makes a good companion to all sorts of starters, asparagus, seafood, or poultry as well as pork or veal dishes.
Grape varieties: 60% Pinot Grigio, 40% Pinot Bianco
Vineyard location: Kurtatsch and Margreid.
Soil: Chalk gravel moraine soil and alluvial soil.
Growing system: Guyot and pergola; - 7,000 – 3,500 vines / hectare
Yield: 60 - 70 hl / hectare
Age of vines: Till 50 years
Vinification: Fermented and aged in oak barrels (2,500 lt. – 5,000 lt.) for 6 months; no malolactic.
Barrels: Oak barrels and stainless steal
Alcohol content: 13.5% by vol.
Total acidity: 6.3 g / litre
Residual sugars: 2.9 g / litre
